AllFix Building Services has been a licensed Sunshine Coast Builder since 2009.
We are a boutique virtual company that specialises in Insurance Repairs, Commercial Repairs and Private Renovations on all scales.
We currently service areas from Gympie to Gold Coast
This is a work-from-home online role.
About The Role:
The role is a hybrid role to assist both the Operations Manager with managing tasks in completing projects as well as being able to project manage your own set of jobs.
Roles and Responsibilities will start with:
Coordinating client appointments and site visits
Procuring and managing building materials
Organizing material logistics and deliveries
Issuing clear Work Orders to employees and subcontractors.
Assisting in project variations, including writing construction scopes and costings
Compiling and managing project budgets and costs
Providing administrative support to the Builder and Operations Manager
Drafting up quote requests to trades and coordinating access into homes between trades and homeowners.
Liaising with trades and homeowners for seamless project execution.
Remuneration is based on experience.
To begin with the successful candidate will be put on a casual role for 4 hours a day during the training process for a period of 1 month - after 1 month will increase to full time hours on a Casual Contract for a further 2 months. After 3 months the candidate can move to a full time contract.
Full time hours will be between 7am and 4pm with lunch break in the middle.
About You:
To thrive in this role, you must possess:
Essential construction/building knowledge, with a deep understanding of trade sequences and materials. DO NOT apply unless you have sound knowledge of these factors.
Min 5 years of Residential Construction Knowledge is imperative.
Familiarity with building materials for effective ordering
Will understand the importance of working within budgets and time frames.
Strong financial acumen and bookkeeping skills as we are constantly calculating job costs on a daily basis.
Impeccable attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
A forward-thinking mindset with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
This is a Dynamic role and is quite intense so the ability to handle high volumes of work, numerous calls and be able to multi-task is important.
Strong time management skills and ability to work closely in a team.
Tech Savvy - must be able to pick up working with software easily.
Immediate availability and a long-term commitment to growth within the company.
Prior Insurance construction knowledge is advantageous
