About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on, motivated Branch Manager to lead our Smithfield, NSW branch. This is a pivotal leadership role overseeing a team of 7 (4 warehouse staff and 3 sales staff), ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, team development, and customer satisfaction.
This role combines operational oversight, team leadership, and internal sales responsibilities. You’ll be the key driver of branch performance, culture, and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and support a team of warehouse and sales staff
Manage internal sales processes and distributor relationships (B2B only)
Oversee inventory levels and stock control
Coordinate staff leave, training, and performance reviews
Maintain office and warehouse cleanliness and amenities
Ensure timely order processing, quoting, and technical support
Occasionally assist with warehouse operations (picking/packing)
Foster a positive, team-oriented culture
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role (ideally in industrial or trade supply)
Strong communication and people management skills
High attention to detail and organisational ability
Comfortable working in both office and warehouse environments
Intermediate to advanced computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word)
A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
Industry experience is preferred but not essential – we value attitude, reliability, and leadership potential.
