Senior Systems Administrator - 12 Month Contract

Location: Brisbane, QLD (Hybrid)

On behalf of our client, a leading government-focused consultancy, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Administrator for an initial 12-month contract. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a Brisbane-based professional to join a high-performing team and play a critical part in supporting a large-scale Windows Server Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide expert support for the department's Windows Server Infrastructure.

Act as a technical advisor to clients and other technical resources.

Produce high-quality documentation, processes, and reports in line with departmental standards.

Participate in team support rosters, including after-hours and on-call duties.

Ensure the server infrastructure operates without fault.

Mandatory Skills & Experience:

Expert-level experience with Windows Servers, Active Directory, and Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM).

Extensive experience with Azure B2C and ADFS.

High level of proficiency with Powershell Scripting.

Demonstrated experience with ITIL-modelled Change and Release Management in a large enterprise setting.

Essential Skills:

A high level of experience in writing clear and concise technical documentation.

Experience administering Microsoft Office 365.

Highly Desirable Skills:

Experience with Microsoft Identity Manager.

Experience with C#.

Familiarity with Microsoft Conditional Access and Security Compliance methodologies.

Relevant Microsoft certifications.

Working Arrangements: This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 50% on-site work at our client's office on George Street, Brisbane. Please note that on-call duties are required on a rotational basis.
