Lead the Kitchen at Macedon Village Hotel

A rare opportunity exists for an experienced Head Chef to lead our flagship kitchen at the Macedon Village Hotel .

About the Role:

Working closely with our management team, you'll lead the delivery of a well-crafted modern pub menu that celebrates local producers and seasonal ingredients. This hands-on leadership position requires strong systems knowledge and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute and refine our established menu direction

• Lead and develop a high-performing kitchen team

• Drive quality, consistency and presentation standards

• Oversee all kitchen operations, including:

- Developing and implementing cooking process guidelines

- Staff recruitment and training

- Cost and inventory control

- Compliance and food safety

• Work with management on business planning and growth

Required Experience:

• Minimum 5 years in senior kitchen management

• Proven success in high-volume pub/hotel operations

• Strong commercial acumen and cost control skills

• Advanced knowledge of kitchen management systems

• Experience leading teams

• Current food safety qualifications
