A well-respected national building contractor, known for delivering large-scale Design & Construct projects, is seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator or Project Manager to lead the commercial development of projects valued between $5M and $80M, from tender through to contract award.

Your new role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will play a key role in the pre-construction phase, with responsibilities including:

• Preparing and developing trade work packages for tender
  
• Procuring subcontractor quotations and conducting detailed assessments
  
• Managing communications with clients and subcontractors during tender negotiations
  
• Coordinating the compilation of tender submissions and supporting documentation
  
• Reviewing contract terms and identifying commercial risks prior to award
  
• Assisting in the finalisation and award of contracts in alignment with project objectives
  

What you'll need to succeed

• Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field are highly regarded.
  
• Proven background in commercial construction, ideally within Design & Construct environments.
• Strong understanding of trade package development, tender processes, and subcontractor procurement.
• Capable of managing multiple packages and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
