Role Responsibilities:
To oversee the JIRA Service Desk and internal ticketing processes, to ensure queries are handled efficiently and resolved smoothly
To provide first-line support for software integrations, troubleshoot API/webhook issues, and assist with onboarding/offboarding and bulk data processes
To support internal business systems, including HubSpot, Atlassian, and other software tools
To collaborate across the wider business and with external development teams, software partners, and customers to ensure seamless integrations and data flow
To ensure compliance with industry standards, through proper documentation, process adherence, and knowledge base updates
To monitor system performance and AWS usage, identify operational efficiencies, implement alerts, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Skills you will need include:
Essential:
A qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Relevant professional certifications such as AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or CompTIA Security+
Strong technical writing skills with the ability to document processes clearly
Experience in managing systems and providing technical support
Proficient in JIRA service desk (or similar) and familiar with ITIL practices
A knowledge of APIs, webhooks, data integration, and IoT platforms
Experience with AWS services, cloud infrastructure, and networking fundamentals
An understanding of compliance, security testing, vulnerability management, and disaster recovery planning
Strong communication skills, able to convey technical details to a range of audiences
Process-oriented with a strong focus on attention to detail
Strong analytical thinking skills with the ability to solve problems effectively
Committed to driving continuous improvement in processes and systems
A team player, able to work collaboratively across a business to achieve goals
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Desirable:
An interest in DevOps and automation, with basic skills in scripting, CI/CD concepts, managing infrastructure as code, using Docker and Kubernetes, and working with monitoring tools
Experience with Atlassian products, GitHub, SDLC practices, integration platforms, and data/BI tools
Experience in mobile device management solutions, network security, VPNs, and core security practices
