The team at Adelaide Specialist Support Coordinators aims to support people living with a disability to help achieve their unique personal goals. We address barriers they may be facing, whilst providing empathy and compassion to each individual and their experience with the NDIS.
About the Role
As a Specialist Support Coordinator you would be joining a fun and supportive team who work autonomously across multiple sites.
Level 3 Specialist Support Coordination aims to:
Support individuals during times of crisis, complex and urgent circumstances
Manage and implement the participant’s NDIS plan
Achieve the outcomes identified in the participant’s NDIS plan
Connect the participant with formal, mainstream and funded support
The preferred candidates will have a working knowledge of delivering NDIS Specialist Support Coordination. However, as the successful candidate, you will have a self-directed passion and drive to support capacity-building activities for the people you support, and collaborative approach in finding innovative solutions to complex situations.
We strongly believe and promote a work/life balance by working from home.
Hours of operation are Monday to Friday (working flexibly) between 7am to 6pm
Successful applicant will have choice and autonomy regarding their caseload. This includes curating your caseload and the demographic of participants you wish to work with (e.g., preferred age groups, disability types, whether an OPA is in place, etc.) Everyone’s caseloads are unique, and as an SSC on our team, you have the flexibility to shape yours in a way that works best for you.
The priority is simply to ensure that a high level service is consistently delivered, and that the participants are genuinely supported. ASSC do not work with KPIs or any performance measures.
