About the role

Vivad manufactures Large format digital print products.

We are looking for an Industrial Sewing Machinist/Motor Trimmer to manufacture banners, marquees, exhibition graphics as well as a range of bespoke projects.

You will bring your skills as an industrial sewing machine operator and you will be trained on a variety of banner welding techniques and equipment.

This full-time position is based in our Campbellfield, Victoria facility.

What you'll be doing

Operating industrial sewing machines to stitch and assemble a variety of textile products

Ensuring high-quality workmanship and attention to detail in all tasks

Collaborating with team members to maintain production schedules and meet deadlines

Troubleshooting machine issues and performing basic maintenance and adjustments

Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations within the manufacturing environment

What we're looking for

Proven experience as an industrial sewing machinist

Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, patterns, and specifications

Excellent hand-eye coordination, dexterity, and attention to detail

Commitment to maintaining a safe and organised work environment

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions
