CNC Machinist/Programmer
Location: Western Suburbs
Salary: $45 - $55 an hour

Our client is looking for an experienced CNC Machinist / Toolmaker to join their team on day shift. This is a hands-on role working with a close-knit crew, machining precision parts used in tooling, jigs, and fixtures. You'll be based in a well-equipped workshop and work on a range of parts that support manufacturing operations. Reporting to the Factory Supervisor, this role suits someone who enjoys a mix of CNC programming, setup, and machining - with a focus on quality and safety.

What You'll Be Doing

• Programming CNC machines using CAM software
  
• Setting up and operating machines
  
• Machining high-precision components from start to finish
  
• Carrying out basic machine maintenance and checks
  
• Following all safety and quality procedures - safety is a big deal to us
  

What You'll Need

• Background as a CNC machinist or toolmaker
  
• Experience with CAM programming
  
• Confident reading detailed mechanical drawings
  
• Able to use manual machines (mills, lathes) and power tools when needed
  
• Organised, reliable, and able to manage your time and tasks
