About the role

The Cruiser Company is seeking an experienced Motor Mechanic/Fitter to join our team in Pakenham, Victoria. As a full-time position, this role will involve the installation of 4x4 bar work/ accessories for our customers' vehicles. This Job is heavily focused around the fitting side not so much mechanical.

What you'll be doing

Diagnose and repair a wide range of mechanical issues for 4x4 vehicles

Have an excellent knowledge and experience of 12v systems

Install and fit 4x4 bar work, accessories including any 12v set up i.e lights, batteries etc.

Provide exceptional customer service and technical advice

Maintain detailed records of all work carried out

Ensure workshop operations adhere to all relevant safety standards.

What we're looking for

Qualified Motor Mechanic with a minimum of 5 years' experience in the automotive industry

Strong knowledge of 4x4 vehicle systems and off-road accessories

Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills

Ability to work efficiently and accurately to deadlines

Excellent customer service skills and a passion for exceeding customer expectations

Adaptable and willing to learn new skills as required
