The Firm & The Role

Our client is seeking a senior insurance lawyer for their growing team in Sydney. You will either be at the Senior Lawyer or Senior Associate or even Special Counsel level.

The work will be interesting and broad ranging and will include:

• general liability claims
• property and product damage matters
• public liability and professional indemnity litigation
• construction risk claims
• advising on policy interpretation, wording and coverage

In this role, you will work with local and global insurers, government agencies as well as private ASX-listed corporations.

About You

The ideal candidate for this senior role will have:

• At least 5+ years PAE with experience in a well-regarded firm or in-house environment
• Strong written and negotiation skills
• Ability to mentor junior members of the team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Enjoys building client relationships
