The Opportunity
We are seeking a Fund Administration and Complaints Analyst to join our client’s Member Growth & Proposition team. This role is a key support position within the Trustee Office, providing operational expertise and oversight across fund administration, complaints, and incident management.
You will be instrumental in ensuring efficient day-to-day workflows, collaborating with the outsourced Administration Service Provider, and contributing to our client’s strong compliance and member-first service culture.
What You’ll Do
- Work closely with the outsourced administration service provider to manage Work in Progress (WIP) items, small projects, process updates, and compliance-driven changes.
- Provide reporting, dashboards, and internal communications support to the Head of Fund Administration & Business Intelligence.
- Manage and support the resolution of member complaints and incidents, including AFCA escalations, ensuring responses meet regulatory requirements (RG271).
- Draft and review complaint correspondence, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and professionalism.
- Analyse complaints and incidents to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain and enhance process documentation to support compliance, efficiency, and knowledge sharing.
- Represent the administration function in risk and compliance forums and assist with audits.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance member outcomes.
- Provide flexible support on ad hoc tasks and projects.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years’ experience in superannuation administration or financial services.
- Strong background in complaints handling, incident management, and regulatory compliance (RG271 essential).
- Knowledge of AFCA processes and dispute resolution frameworks.
- Familiarity with Defined Benefits is advantageous.
- Solid understanding of superannuation and managed fund concepts, including regulatory requirements.
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills with the ability to juggle competing priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with internal stakeholders and external providers.
- A problem-solver with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and a member-first approach.
- Degree in Business, Finance, or related field desirable; RG146 and RG271 training highly regarded.
