The Company

My client is a high performing and well-known fund manager who are experiencing a period of growth. They are currently seeking a highly talented Fund Accountant and are looking for candidates with drive and ambition as this role could provide a pathway into the front office.

The Role

• Perform daily, fortnightly and monthly tasks, including unit pricing validation, post trade investment compliance monitoring and corporate actions processing.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of investment data.
• Review monthly & quarterly Business Activity Statements, GST and withholdings tax statements prepared by 3rd party administrators.
• Assist in the onboarding of new funds ensuring correct system configuration and data requirements.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting cycles, by reviewing periodic reports produced by the Trade Management & Client Reporting team.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.

The Candidate:

• At least 2 years’ experience in a fund accounting or unit pricing role.
• Strong investment data skills. Knowledge of Python, SQL or Power BI would be an advantage.
• An inquisitive, ambitious nature with the drive to grow and progress your career.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• The ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• A continuous improvement mindset, with a proactive approach to resolving issues
