The Marketing Specialist position is based in our Milton office.
About the role
Lung Foundation Australia is seeking an experienced and highly organised Marketing Specialist to lead the delivery of impactful health campaigns and strengthen the organisation’s brand presence.
This is a pivotal role at the intersection of public health and communications. You’ll be responsible for the end-to-end project management of integrated campaigns that raise awareness of lung disease and lung cancer, encourage participation in our services, support fundraising, and promote early diagnosis and treatment.
With strong project management and communication skills, you will collaborate across teams and with external suppliers to develop campaign strategies, marketing materials, and resources that are on-brand and audience-focused. You will also act as a brand guardian, ensuring consistency and excellence across all touchpoints.
Key responsibilities include:
- Health Campaign Management: Plan, implement and evaluate national awareness and fundraising campaigns; collaborate with internal teams and agencies to deliver messaging that connects with diverse audiences.
- Brand Management: Oversee the consistent application of Lung Foundation Australia’s brand across all internal and external materials; provide advice and approvals on brand elements.
- Marketing Materials & Resource Development: Manage creative projects and brief external agencies to produce materials including brochures, fact sheets, animations, and digital content.
- Project Coordination: Maintain timelines, budgets and deliverables across multiple campaigns and marketing activities simultaneously.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with internal departments to ensure all marketing activities align with organisational priorities.
- Reporting & Evaluation: Track campaign performance and engagement data to continuously optimise strategies and outcomes.
About you
You’re a motivated, detail-oriented marketing professional with a passion for campaign management. You enjoy juggling multiple projects and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You bring a blend of creativity, structure and a commitment to quality and impact.
Essential skills and attributes include:
- Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in a marketing or brand role, ideally within the non-profit or fundraising sector.
- Proven experience managing the end-to-end delivery of marketing campaigns and projects.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence working with external creative teams, designers and agencies.
- Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Office; Canva or Adobe Suite experience is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with project management platforms and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive working relationships across teams.
- A self-starter with excellent time management and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
