Ozcare has an exciting opportunity for a Workforce Support Advisor to join a growing team offering HR Operational services across Queensland.
We are currently recruiting for a full time position on a 12 month term with the possibility of extension.
Your Role
As a Workforce Support Advisor, you will act as a first point of contact offering a wide range of services including but not limited to recruitment and onboarding, employment changes and other HR support services. Your tasks will include:
Preparation and maintenance of documentation and information which supports the full employee lifecycle and providing effective and accurate correspondence that relates to this process (offers of appointment, staff transfers)
Working closely with various stakeholders including the centralized recruitment team, internal managers, and external customers to provide HR support and operational services
Provide assistance and information to managers and applicants around recruitment functions and to ensure day one readiness for new employees and managers
Maintenance of employee data and documentation to ensure compliance in line with policies and procedures
Finalise employee records within our Payroll system as part of a streamlined recruitment process
Processing inbound and outbound enquires using a range of business systems
Provide first line advice on enterprise agreement application, and general HR queries and support services to our employees and managers
Your Attributes:
We're looking for a person who has proven interpersonal and relationship management skills. With that, you will have:
A demonstrated high standard of customer service skills for a positive representation of the Ozcare brand and business operations
The willingness and ability to learn all functions HR and operational support as we continue to grow and improve our services to the business
Demonstrated a high standard of personal and professional behaviour consistent with Ozcare's values of Integrity, Respect, Empathy and Compassion
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to successfully manage a range of relationships
Confidence in decision making in a fast paced environment
Role Requirements
As a Workforce Support Advisor you will ideally have a background in Human Resources or the skills of a strong administrator with an interest in developing your career in this area. To be successful in this role, you will require:
A certificate IV in Business or Administration (or demonstrated equivalent experience)
Strong administration, written and communication skills with excellent attention to detail
A demonstrated high level of computer literacy with Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and SharePoint
Well-developed time management skills, including the ability to effectively adapt to changing priorities
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
The ability to effectively handle confidential information with discretion
Previous experience in a HR Administrator role is desirable
Please note a Current National Police Check is required prior to commencement for this role.
