The CoRLink National Animal Welfare Accreditation Scheme (NAWA) is an independent, nationally harmonised accreditation framework that sets higher standards in animal welfare, traceability, biosecurity, and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) compliance across Australia’s livestock transport and supply chain.

By uniting transport operators, producers, supply chain partners, and industry stakeholders, NAWA provides assurance from paddock to processor, embedding best practice, strengthening community confidence, and supporting compliance with the HVNL, Animal Welfare Standards & Guidelines, and Codes of Practice.

We are seeking a skilled Accreditation Scheme Administrator to support the national roll-out and ongoing operations of this landmark initiative.

The Role:

As the Accreditation Scheme Administrator, you will be the key operational support to the CoRLink NAWA team, ensuring the smooth delivery and continual improvement of the Scheme. Working in a hybrid capacity (part office-based and part work from home), you will be responsible for:

Assisting in the coordination of the Scheme roll-out nationally, including supporting participating businesses and stakeholders.

Managing applications, records, certification documentation, and data entry with precision and confidentiality.

Supporting the audit and compliance process, including scheduling, reporting, and communication with auditors and accredited members.

Preparing and maintaining high-quality correspondence, minutes, and reports for Governance Councils, working groups, and stakeholders.

Responding to enquiries from industry participants, regulators, and the public with professionalism and efficiency.

Assisting in the continuous improvement of business systems, compliance registers, and operational procedures.

About You:

We are looking for someone who is proactive, highly organised, and passionate about contributing to an initiative that will shape the future of livestock transport and animal welfare standards nationally. We are seeking the following skills and attributes of potential candidates:

Strong administration and coordination skills, with exceptional attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and document control systems.

Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative team environment.

Experience or knowledge in audit processes or quality management systems, or familiarity in agriculture, livestock transport, logistics, or heavy vehicle regulation (HVNL/CoR) is greatly desired.
