Queensland Positive People (QPP) are seeking a Peer Services Coordinator to lead our peer services programs, including Peer Navigation and Community Engagement. This role provides leadership, coordination, and support to ensure high-quality peer-led services that improve outcomes for people living with HIV

Applications close midnight Sunday 21st of September 2025.

Full-time (38 hours) Monday – Friday with some weekend work required.

Fixed-term contract to 30th June 2026 (continuation of employment depends on continued programme funding).

Work includes outreach, regular team connections and the promotion of work/life balance.

SACS Award Level 6.1 ($55.72/hr) + super + salary packaging to increase your take home wage.

About the role:

As a Peer Services Coordinator, you will:

Lead and support QPP’s Peer Services, providing supervision, guidance, and mentorship to.

Coordinate the delivery of QPP’s Peer Navigation and Community Engagement programs, ensuring they are high-quality, peer-led, and aligned with QPP’s strategic direction.

Manage client allocations and referrals across peer navigation services, ensuring seamless coordination with other Life+ programs.

Contribute to quality improvement and risk management, including audits, reporting, and supporting accreditation requirements.

Build and maintain strong relationships with community and sector stakeholders, ensuring peer voices inform service design and delivery.

Essential Requirements:

You must be a person living with HIV to apply for this role.

Tertiary qualification in social work/community development and/or social/human services with prior experience working within a community-based, peer-led organisation.

Hold a current QLD Working with Children Check (Blue Card).

Provide a National Police Check of 6 months currency or evidence that a check has been applied for.

Provide a valid Driver's license with no restrictions.

Willingness to work outside normal business hours as required.

Ability to travel intra and inter-state as required.
