About us

We are currently two Weber BBQ, Yeti and Flame Fire heating shops on the Gold Coast - Southport and Tweed Heads, this role will be focused at Southport and may occasionally work in Tweed Heads. We specialise in Weber BBQ's, Weber Charcoal Grills, Smokers. We sell the entire Yeti range and we sell a huge range of wood, gas flame heaters/fires and electric fireplaces. We focus on having great customer service and backing up the products we sell. Our motivated team provide a great work environment and are always available to assist you as you grow and build your knowledge in the role. There is high potential for career advancement at this location for the right person.

We ensure our staff are given time to learn all about our products and our sales systems, a number of our suppliers have excellent online training systems to make it easy! Our range is constantly evolving so we take the time to get it right (we also do some cool grilling and low and slow BBQ cooking as part of our every day work environment). Manufacturers and in house expertise provide an excellent level of training and support for all our heating range meaning you will become a leader in the field of flame fire sales!

Qualifications & experience

Previous practical experience in a retail setting is an advantage.

Experience with BBQs and heating is a bonus.

Drivers licence - LR licence would be an advantage.

Trade ticket or degree viewed favourably but certainly not mandatory.

Tasks & responsibilities

Be seriously motivated and actively lead and drive sales and staff culture. You need to "own" your shop and effectively work within the group to nail every retail opportunity.

Work effectively in a great team environment in shops that carry the best barbecue and heating brands. You will be expected to provide a high standard of individual customer service ensuring customers will be keen to come back to us.

With training, work effectively in our Point Of Sale system - Retail Express, completing sales and emailing out quotes to customers as well as use the full microsoft suite of programs in your daily activities.

Undertake training to become a BBQ legend - this way you can provide tips and great customer service (and enjoy some great flavours!).

Undertake training associated with our full heating range, become a content expert!

Work in both the show room and the warehouse of the business, all staff learn whats required so you get some great diversity in your work, its always interesting.

We work as a team to ensure we have outstanding clean and tidy showrooms - we want our customers to be impressed and feel like they are in the very best retail space.

Work safely and responsibly - we like to take care of each other and make sure we all go home safely at the end of the day!
