We are hiring qualified Maintenace Fitter to join our team in Tallangatta, Victoria Australia. We offer you a permanent job with proper industry training and supportive management. You will be a valued team member working in a fast-paced environment that focuses on safety and well-being.

The role of the Maintenance Fitter is responsible for performing the maintenance, modification, repair, servicing, and inspection requirements of our meat processing facility. The role is accountable to the Maintenance Manager and takes direction on day-to-day issues. Whilst this role is for a single trade Tradesperson, we are particularly interested in applicants that have a second skillset such as welding, plumbing, heavy equipment operating, building.

The role involves dealing with:

Pursuing the continuous improvement of our plant equipment and systems

Fault finding and troubleshooting of plant equipment repairs

Applying a planned and preventative approach to maintenance

Having a clear focus on quality and safety

Proven experience within the meat industry

Knowledge and understanding of Quality requirements

Ability to cope with the physical demands of the job

Ability to work in a diverse team with varying backgrounds, knowledge, and experience

Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year.
