Your New Role

We’re seeking skilled Maintenance Shift Fitters & Turners to join our Melbourne branch. In this role, you’ll:

Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on advanced production equipment.

Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues with precision.

Contribute to custom fabrication and machining projects for turnkey solutions.

Provide shift coverage (day, afternoon, or night) to support high-end production lines with minimal downtime.

Collaborate with our electrical and automation teams on innovative projects for clients in the food, beverage, and manufacturing sectors.

You’ll work in our state-of-the-art workshop or onsite, delivering solutions for some of Victoria’s largest manufacturers and craft beverage innovators.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:

Trade Qualification: Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical (essential).

Technical Skills:

Experience in welding and fabrication (MIG and TIG highly regarded; stainless welding a bonus).

Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities for complex mechanical challenges.

Experience in, lathes, mills, or other precision machining tools.

Industry Knowledge: Understanding of GMP and food safety standards in FMCG environments (preferred).

Work Ethic: A reliable team player with a can-do attitude, able to work unsupervised.

Flexibility: Commitment to shift work, including weekends, days, or nights as needed.

Safety Focus: Knowledge of safe work practices and compliance with standards.

Preferred: Experience in food and beverage manufacturing or familiarity with conveyor systems and high speed production line maintenance.
