What You’ll Be Doing As the WHS Coordinator, you’ll take the lead on WHS at Port Macquarie Private Hospital, working closely with the National Safety Team and the facility Executive Team to foster a strong, proactive safety culture. Key responsibilities include • Embedding and maintaining the Ramsay safety management system, templates, and documentation. • Investigating incidents and implementing solutions to minimise future risks. • Conducting risk assessments, site audits, and workplace safety training. • Developing and maintaining effective safety practices. • Preparing and presenting safety performance reports for internal stakeholders. What You’ll Bring: To succeed in this role, you’ll need: • Tertiary qualifications in WH&S (Minimum of a Cert IV in WH&S). • Experience in Work Health and Safety, preferably within the health industry or a large organisation • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with teams at all levels. • A proactive and highly organised approach to managing multiple priorities. • Proven ability to work autonomously. • Excellent planning, time management, problem solving and decision-making skills • Full Australian work rights, a current Police Check & proof of immunisation against infectious diseases What You’ll be Paid This opportunity is suited to a permanent part-time arrangement, ideally two or three days weekly. The base annual salary ranges from $110,000 to $115,000, plus superannuation.
