About the role

We are seeking an experienced Chef - Multicuisine to join the team at our vibrant Cart21 cafe and lunch bar located in Forrestdale WA 6112. This is a full-time role where you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a wide variety of international cuisine in our fast-paced cafe environment.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing a range of multicuisine dishes including Indian, Chinese, Italian and Australian cuisine
• Ensuring all food is presented to a high standard and in accordance with our recipes and quality standards
• Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment
• Assisting the Head Chef with menu planning and development
• Mentoring and training junior kitchen staff
• Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a chef in a fast-paced cafe or restaurant environment
• Strong technical cooking skills with the ability to prepare a wide range of international cuisines
• Excellent time management and multitasking abilities to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with the front-of-house team
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
• Formal culinary qualifications an advantage
