Estimator - Civil Infrastructure | Hunter Valley

A long-standing civil contractor is seeking an experienced Estimator to support upcoming projects in the Hunter Valley. This role offers the opportunity to work across a wide range of civil and infrastructure works.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare cost estimates based on tender documents and site inspections

Analyse project specs, drawings, BOQs, and historical data

Coordinate RFIs, subcontractor quotes, and supplier pricing

Collaborate with internal teams to develop non-pricing schedules

Support tender reviews and ensure timely submissions

Provide pricing insights and advice to project managers

What You'll Need:

Minimum 3 years' local experience in civil estimating

Strong first principles estimating skills

Background in Civil infrastructure projects, inolvong civil works, road constrcution, bulk earthworks.

Proficient with Excel-based estimating (no estimating software used)

Excellent attention to detail, risk assessment, and communication skills
