This company is looking for a highly ambitious Estimator to join their team. Located in Sydney, this firm operates all across NSW with the bulk of their projects located in the Metropolitan region - to date, this company has designed and built countless Sydney CBD offices!

ABOUT THE POSITION.

Working closely with the Estimating Manager, you will take ownership of end-to-end estimating responsibilities, contributing to the successful tendering and securing of projects. With comprehensive guidance and support, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s growth and development by ensuring the successful acquisition of key projects.

DUTIES.

• Prepare tender submissions
• Estimating projects
• Cost Planning
• Scope of works preparations
• Subcontractor negotiations
• Pre tender planning
• BOQ's
• Work with the team to plan programming

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.

• Minimum of 2 year of experience in estimating role within the construction space
• Background in commercial fit-out projects is preferred
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field (preferred)
