About the Role

The Estimator will play a critical role in the tendering and pre-construction process, ensuring Coplex remains competitive and commercially successful. You will be responsible for preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates, identifying risks and opportunities, and providing clear insights to support decision-making across our projects.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers while contributing directly to the success of diverse and exciting builds.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions.

Analyse drawings, plans, and specifications to determine project requirements.

Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to source competitive pricing and build long-term relationships.

Conduct risk assessments and propose value-engineering solutions.

Collaborate with project delivery teams to ensure estimates are practical, achievable, and aligned with client expectations.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market rates, industry trends, and construction methodologies.

About You

We are looking for a professional with strong commercial acumen and an eye for detail. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working collaboratively as part of a motivated team.

Proven local experience at least 2+years an Estimator in the construction industry working within multi-unit class 2 residential

Solid understanding of construction techniques, materials, and subcontractor markets.

Proficiency in using Cubit estimating software & Bluebeam for takeoffs.

Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.

Ability to write methodologies & construction programs using MS Projects

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
