About the role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Site Manager to join our construction team at BlueGum Build. This full-time role is based in Padstow, NSW and will involve overseeing on-site all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

What you'll be doing

Oversee and manage all on-site activities for construction projects.

Ensure projects are reported properly and completed on time, within scope, and in line with quality and safety standards.

Coordinate and supervise employees, trades, subcontractors, and suppliers on-site to ensure work is done efficiently and to a high standard.

Liaise with clients, architects, and engineers to ensure smooth communication and project delivery.

Monitor and manage project budgets, timelines, and resources.

Enforce health and safety regulations to create a safe work environment.

Conduct regular site inspections, reporting on project progress and addressing any issues or delays.

Handle problem-solving and troubleshooting on-site, making decisions to ensure project continuity.

Manage site documentation, including project schedules, permits, and variations.

Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and company policies.

What we're looking for

Extensive experience as a Site Manager or Construction Supervisor.

Ability to supervise and lead several projects at a time.

Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project management principles and quality control processes.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate diverse teams.

Proven track record of completing construction projects on time and within budget.

Proficient in the use of construction management software and project reporting tools.

Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering or a related field is highly desirable.

Current driver's licence and construction industry tickets/certifications.

Full working right in Australia.
