Forster Neighbourhood Centre is seeking a Financial Resilience and Capability Officer & No Interest Loans Officer (NILS) to join our Financial Wellbeing team.

Financial Resilience and Capability Officer The role offered is permanent part-time, 4 days per week (28 hours) under the SCHADS Award Level 3.
Essential Criteria
Certificate III in Community Services and/or equivalent
Strong financial management skills, especially with budgeting and debt management
Demonstrated strong people/communication skills to identify client needs
Demonstrated ability to work well within a small team, manage own schedule and organise work
Class C Driver’s License
Ability to provide a Working with Children’s Clearance and Criminal History Clearance.
Ability to work autonomously across outreach locations
Attention to detail, accuracy and follow through
Desirable Criteria
Group facilitation/training skills
Specific qualifications or certificates in financial counselling
Knowledge of local issues and services

No Interest Loans Officer (NILS) The role offered is permanent part-time, 3 days per week (21 hours) under the SCHADS Award Level 3.
Essential Criteria
Qualifications in Community Services and/or Financial Administration
Bookkeeping experience
Strong IT skills, especially with spread sheets and data entry
Demonstrated good people/communication skills,
Time management and organisational skills
Demonstrated ability to work well within a small team
Class C Driver’s License
Willingness to provide a Working with Children’s Clearance and Criminal History Clearance.
Some knowledge of household budgeting
Attention to detail, accuracy and follow through
Desirable Criteria
Knowledge of community-based, not-for-profit organisations
Knowledge of local referral pathways and service networks
Knowledge of local issues and services
