Your Role
Based at Eagle Farm, the Human Resources Manager will form a pivotal part of the site leadership team and act as a trusted advisor for 65 employees.
Responsible for the delivery of results in the areas of employee engagement, leadership development, employee relations and talent acquisition, you will provide daily guidance regarding people matters, projects and programs in order to drive organisational objectives.
Reporting to the HR Director based in the United States, responsibilities will include:
- Holding a key place on the site leadership team and maintaining accountability for leading People & Culture programs and objectives
- Resolving and providing guidance regarding personnel issues, employee and industrial relations and supporting company benefits, policies and procedures
- Acting as a trusted advisor and business partner to managers and employees onsite
- Managing recruitment and onboarding processes as well as workforce planning for anticipated future growth
- Developing and implementing proactive human resources programs and communications
- Providing coaching and mentoring relating to retention, engagement, talent acquisition, succession planning and career development
- Consulting with employees and managers to foster engagement at all levels of the organisation
- Reporting and presenting on various HR metrics and initiatives as required
Your Profile
The successful candidate will present as a highly relatable, trusted advisor to all employees onsite and work closely alongside the Site Manager and department leads. Your ability to develop strong partnerships with the leadership team, provide coaching and mentoring and not be afraid to undertake HR and recruitment administration will be pivotal in this role.
You will be a results-driven HR professional with solid experience in a hands-on, operational HR management role. You will be the go-to expert for all HR-related matters, confidently representing the Australian branch in both employee and industrial relations. Your proven ability to lead employee engagement initiatives, manage compensation and contract reviews, and drive strategic workforce planning will be key to supporting their growth and success in this critical position.
A background in Aerospace, Engineering, or Manufacturing environments is highly desirable. Essential to this role are formal qualifications or experience in Human Resource Management, Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordination, along with a proven track record in a similar position.
