We are currently looking for a Labourer/Plant Operator to join the team. This is a great opportunity to start a career with a successful and established company.

We are based in West Perth and are looking for someone to start immediately to work across the metro area and, at times regional WA.

The Role:

The candidate will be required to work on projects mainly in the metro area.

This is a hands-on site-based role that will see you undertaking a variety of construction and maintenance activities, operating plant and equipment, and contributing to the safe and efficient delivery of projects.

Key responsibilities include:

General civil labouring duties including concrete works, steel fixing, site cleanup, and earthworks.

Assisting and supporting personnel in all areas of construction and maintenance.

Operating plant and equipment such as skid steers, loaders, small excavators, and rollers.

Performing daily pre-start checks and basic maintenance on plant and equipment.

Assisting in the set-up and packing down of worksites, including traffic management and safety systems.

Following project plans and instructions from supervisors to complete works on time and to quality standards.

Adhering to all WHS policies, procedures, and safe work practices.

Contributing to a positive, team-oriented site culture

This position suits someone reliable, safety-focused, and keen to take ownership of their responsibilities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

The Successful Applicant Should have:

Current manual Driver’s Licence.

Construction White Card.

Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.

Ability to work in regional areas from time to time.

Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical examination.

Demonstrated construction experience.

Experienced in the use of power tools and construction equipment.

Not essential but highly desirable:

HR or HC Driver’s Licence.

HIAB operation.

Dogging ticket.

Forklift licence.

Elevated Work Platform (EWP) ticket.

Telehandler ticket.

Excavator operation experience.

Skid steer operation experience.

Loader operation experience.

Basic Worksite Traffic Management.
