Rhomberg Sersa Australia is the local operating division of the Austrian-based Rhomberg Sersa Rail Group. We are a leading rail design, construction, and maintenance specialist, providing for today’s rail networks through a complete range of innovative rail infrastructure solutions.

We are looking for skilled Welders to join our growing Gracemere based track construction team!

Our track teams are required to conduct welding activities on track infrastructure, including the installing, maintaining and repairing of rail infrastructure to the correct certification of rail safety and network requirements.

Teams will be required to utilise their experience and knowledge in weld techniques, Re-Stress, Stress Testing, and Re-Rail as well as holding Network governed competencies in order to successfully fulfil this role.

Essential Criteria

· Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (MEM30319)

· White Card

· Safely Access the Rail Corridor

· Certificate II and Certificate III in Rail Infrastructure (Welding Elective units)

· Category 3 Rail Medical

· Experience working in Rail Construction

· Certificate of Currency (Aurizon or ARTC)

· QR Safely Access the Rail Corridor

· Qualifications in Track Certification and Examination

Desirable Criteria

· Qualifications in Work at Heights, Confined Spaces or Plant Operations

· Responsible Worker (Aurizon)

· Authorised Person (Aurizon)
