About Company

With over 16 years of experience in the travel industry, we provide a comprehensive range of services, including flight bookings, holiday packages, hotel reservations, car hire, cruises, travel insurance, coach tours, and visa assistance. We currently operate seven branches located in Sydney City, Market City, Hurstville, Eastwood, Burwood, Campsie, and at the University of Sydney.

Job Duties:

The Human Resource Adviser will support our travel agency by undertaking the following responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and policy implementation tailored to the travel and tourism industry.

Design and execute HR strategies aligned with the agency’s business objectives, supporting growth and efficiency across multiple branch locations.

Oversee office administration and daily operations, ensuring effective coordination between departments such as sales, ticketing, reservations, and customer service.

Develop and maintain organisational charts, position descriptions, and employee handbooks to uphold service standards and operational consistency within the travel sector.

Manage employee records and ensure full compliance with Australian Fair Work legislation, workplace health and safety (WHS) standards, and other applicable regulations.

Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and professional development activities to foster a positive, collaborative, and service-driven workplace culture.

Coordinate internal meetings, staff rosters, training sessions, office resources, and communications with external vendors.

Supervise administrative staff and provide HR advice to senior management to strengthen organisational planning and long-term workforce development.

The Travel Consultant will support our travel agency by undertaking the following responsibilities:

Arrange and confirm domestic and international travel, including flights, holiday packages, hotels, cruises, tours, and car hire.

Provide professional advice on destinations, fares, travel insurance, visas, and documentation.

Deliver excellent customer service by managing enquiries, bookings, changes, and issue resolution.

Liaise with airlines, hotels, and tour operators to secure competitive deals and packages.

Process bookings, issue tickets, and handle payments in line with company policies.

Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.

Skills we need:

Human Resource Adviser:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a relevant industry.

Strong bilingual communication skills (Mandarin preferred).

Proven ability in human resource strategy development.

Expertise in compensation and benefits management.

Solid experience in talent acquisition and retention.

Knowledge of organisational development practices.

Proficiency in performance management and KPI implementation.

Experience in corporate training and career development.

Travel Consultant:

1+ years travel consulting experience

Fluent in Mandarin & English

GDS/airline booking system knowledge

Strong customer service & sales skills

Knowledge of visas, insurance & travel regulations

Negotiation & problem-solving ability

Annual Salary:

Human Resource Adviser: $70,000–$90,000 + super, based on experience

Travel Consultant: Base salary: $60,000 + super, plus commission incentives.
