The Role:

Our client is seeking a passionate and experienced Clinical Manager to lead their centres across Tweed Heads, Lismore, and Ballina.

The Clinical Manager will:

Provide clinical guidance and supervision to a multidisciplinary team delivering youth mental health services

Oversee clinical governance, accreditation, and continuous service improvement

Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and legislative requirements

Lead the delivery of evidence-based interventions and a stepped model of care

Manage key stakeholder relationships with funding bodies, community partners, and universities

Mentor and develop clinical staff and placement students, fostering a culture of learning and professional growth

Act as Site Manager, ensuring safe environments and consistent incident and emergency responses

This is a leadership role with both strategic and hands-on responsibilities, providing an opportunity to shape services that support young people’s mental health, physical health, sexual health, alcohol and other drug concerns, and vocational/educational wellbeing.

Requirements:

Tertiary qualifications in psychology, mental health nursing, or social work (with mental health accreditation)

Current professional registration (AHPRA or AASW)

Minimum 2 years experience supervising a multidisciplinary team in mental health, ideally within youth services

Strong knowledge of mental health trends, stepped care, and service delivery models

Skills in clinical supervision, mentoring, and workforce support

Experience in child protection legislation and practices

Proven ability to implement innovative solutions, manage complex challenges, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders

Mandatory: Current National Police Check , Working with Children Check and Full Drivers License
