About the position

Council’s Arts & Culture Department is looking for casual Functions Officers.

The main responsibilities will include:

• Providing Hospitality Support through the delivery of catering services the service of food and beverage.
• Undertaking bar service and waiting duties at Events; and
• Setting up catering requirements for the Function and Events within the Frankston Arts Centre & Council Chamber.

About you

As the successful candidate, you will have:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role, working in large fast-paced function centres.
• Availability to work weekends.
• Bar and barista experience is desirable.
• Good understanding of event catering.
• Excellent customer service skills, communication and writing skills.
• The ability to stay composed in difficult situations; and
• Current RSA.

This position is a Band 2C currently remunerated at $43.22 per hour, which is inclusive of casual loading.
