The Role
You’ll be tasked with — telling stories that reflect our values, celebrate our community, and engage both current and prospective families. You will be proud about ensuring our voice is consistent and our values visually demonstrated within our centres.
This role is perfect for someone who wants to pair their creativity with strategy, and who loves capturing moments that matter. You will also help to ensure our values and culture is visually represented consistently across our centres.
Key responsibilities:
Plan, create, and publish engaging content across multiple social media platforms and digital channels.
Assist in keeping our website content fresh, accurate, and up-to-date, ensuring Jenny’s ELC maintains a strong and consistent online presence.
Capture and edit high-quality photos and videos in our centres, at events, and in the community.
Represent Jenny’s ELC at community events, creating social-first campaigns that align with our brand voice and values.
Write basic copy for social media posts, website updates, newsletters, and promotional materials.
Edit and style content for maximum impact, ensuring brand and visual consistency.
Manage and support online advertising across digital platforms (e.g. Meta Ads, Google Ads), including creating and optimising campaigns with guidance from the marketing team.
Monitor online engagement and respond to comments/messages in line with our values.
Collaborate with our marketing team and centre teams to uncover stories and content opportunities.
Bring fresh, creative ideas to strengthen our digital strategy and enhance community engagement.
Confidently use design tools such as Canva to create polished, on-brand graphics and visual content.
Support other marketing activities such as e-newsletters, event promotions, and campaign coordination.
Track analytics and insights across social media, website, and advertising to suggest improvements and measure impact.
About You
You’re creative, adaptable, and confident behind both a camera and a keyboard. You can translate everyday moments into compelling stories, and you understand the balance between fun, warmth, and professionalism.
You’ll bring:
Experience creating content for social media (photography, video, copywriting).
Strong skills in photo and video editing (Canva, Adobe, CapCut, or similar).
A natural eye for visual storytelling and design.
Excellent written communication with a friendly, approachable tone.
An understanding of social media analytics and audience engagement.
The ability to work both independently and collaboratively across multiple locations.
A current driver’s licence and willingness to travel to our centres across regional Victoria.
Desirable but not essential:
Experience in early childhood education, education, or community sectors.
Graphic Design
Knowledge of online advertising.
