Lifely is looking for passionate and committed casual Support Workers to join our team across three support areas:
Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Support Workers – After-school and school holiday programs for children with disabilities.
Community Support Workers – Person-centred support for people with disabilities in their homes and the community.
Residential Support Workers (Supported Independent Living) – 24/7 care for people living in supported accommodation.

About the Roles
Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Support Workers
Provide supervision, engagement, and care for school-aged children with disabilities in our high-intensity OSHC program at Kalianna School Bendigo. Facilitate activities including reading, crafts, sports, and excursions. With high educator-to-student ratios and plenty of support, it’s a perfect opportunity for those with experience in education, disability, or care, or those looking to get started in the sector. After School Care: Mon–Fri, 2:45pm–6:00pm
School Holiday Care: Mon–Fri, 8:00am–6:00pm
Community Support Workers
Deliver flexible, person-centred support to participants in their homes and in the community, including personal care, domestic tasks, social engagement, transport, and skill-building. Support participants 1:1, or as a part of one of our many group programs.
Typical Session Times: Morning (6:00am–11:00am), Afternoon (3:00pm–5:00pm), Evening (6:00pm–9:00pm)
Preferred availability of at least 3 days per week; Saturday availability preferred
Residential Support Workers (SIL)
Work within a team to provide 24/7 care for participants living in supported accommodation. Build strong relationships, support daily living skills, and uphold person-centred care in a structured environment.
Sessions available 24/7 including day, night, and sleepover shifts
About You
We welcome applicants with qualifications, relevant experience, or lived experience in disability, aged care, individual support, education, or community services. You will bring:
A passion for supporting people with disabilities to live their best life
Adaptability, resilience, and a positive approach to change
Strong communication, ethics, and a commitment to safety
Professional presentation and teamwork skills
Desired: completed or working towards a relevant qualification in disability, community services, care, or education.
Requirements Before Starting
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Working with Children Check
First Aid and CPR Certificates
NDIS Orientation Certificate
Current Vaccination Certificate
Proof of Right to Work in Australia
OSHC roles: Mandatory Reporting Certificate
Community & Residential roles: Driver Licence + Comprehensive Car Insurance

Pay & Benefits
SCHADS Level 2.1 - from $43.23/hr (for casual staff, incl. loading) plus any applicable penalty rates
