The Role
We are seeking an experienced Despatch Coordinator to oversee and support delivery operations. This role is hands-on, requiring you to liaise with customers, navigate logistics software systems, ensure of truck load restraints, book internal deliveries and be familiar with truck loading and all relevant road rules.

What You'll Be Doing

- Assist with issue resolution

- Assist with re-booking or adjustments to loads and time slot bookings to cover unlanned leave (driver unwell or truck broken down), and all follow up communication with the broader teams.

- Process driver paperwork, including load manifests and pallet transfer documentation.

- Monitor driver check-in/check-out processes and ensure site inductions for new drivers.

- Book transport through carrier online portals.

- Ensure drivers comply with PPE requirements (Hi-Vis clothing, safety boots).

- Report late and unscheduled vehicles.

- Complete reporting - End of Shift report for matters to handover to AM team, and a Shift report (tonnage dispatched, issues reported, unplanned events (sick leave, breakdowns etc) that occurred during shift

- Conduct general administration tasks, including filing, updating data and reporting.

About You

• Strong logistics experience in transport, warehousing, or manufacturing
• Flexible to work Monday-Friday, 10.00am till 6.00pm.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Confident logistics, multiple years experience with logistics software and load restraints
• Hands-on, proactive, and adaptable
