Organisationally, we are a passionate and dedicated team of 60 spread across Manufacturing, R&D, Sales and Support. Reporting to the Operations Manager this position is part of a highly skilled production team.

The POSITION you will be undertaking:
This is a permanent part-time position Monday to Friday working 8.30am to 3pm (30 hours) at our manufacturing site in Nunawading. This role provides administration and production support for a low volume manufacturer of specialist medical equipment. We place a high value on a track record of problem solving and teamwork.
The key responsibilities of this position include:
Maintaining the production plan based on sales orders and production capacity.
Communicating the overall and individual production plans to sales and production teams.
Raising and closing work orders based on the production plan.
Managing the training records and register.
Liaising with logistics to ensure product is available for shipment.
The PERSON that you are:
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, pro-active and possess excellent time management skills. You may be looking for an opportunity to develop your career as a production scheduler or seeking a role which allows you to balance your work and life commitments.
The skills and knowledge you will have acquired include:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
Familiarity with ERP systems, work orders and (BOM) bill of material structures
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
Computer literacy, including MS Office especially Excel
