The Firm & The Role

Our client is a well established general practice law firm. The Principals of this firm have been practising for many years and have a strong reputation in the market place.They are one of the 'go to' law firms for their local area and they are looking to recruit a lawyer with around 2 to 5 years pae to work on mainly estate litigation matters. You will also work on:

• family provision claims
• probate & estate administration
• wills & estate planning
• appointments of enduring guardian
• applications for construction and rectification of wills
• civil and commercial disputes

The work will be very 'hands on'. You will be meeting with clients and taking instructions, briefing counsel, briefing experts, going to court as well as providing advice.

About You

• You will have around 2 to 5 years pae in the area of estate litigation, FPA claims
• Civil litigation experience is essential
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines effectively
• A client-focused approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality service
• A 'can do' attitude, common sense and a commercial approach
