The Firm & The Role

Our client is long established commercial law firm. Due to growth, a strong pipeline of work and overall strategy, they are looking to hire an experienced litigation lawyer with around 3 years plus pae to Senior Lawyer/Senior Associate level.

Our client is a stalwart in their space and lead the way in the areas of property and body corporate law as well as construction law with decades of experience behind them.

The role will see you working on property disputes, strata disputes, building defects litigation, disputes between lot owners, contractors and managers, matters before NCAT, contractual disputes, mediations, adjudications.

About You

The ideal candidate will:

• Be an experienced litigator, ideally with experience in property disputes and/or building disputes
• Alternatively, you are an experienced litigator who has an interest in property and building disputes
• Have excellent technical skills as well as commercial nous
• Have excellent communication skills, able to foster strong client relationships
• Be a team player but also enjoy working independently
• Be highly organised and be able to manage competing deadlines
• Be enthusiastic, be pro-active and a self-starter
