Assistant Account Executive – Insurance Broking

Are you looking to take the next step in your broking career with a supportive, professional, and long-standing brokerage? This role offers the opportunity to work closely with the Managing Director while managing your own portfolio of SME, domestic, and commercial clients.

About the Role

• Manage a portfolio of around $70k GWP (mix of SME, domestic, business packs, and commercial risks).
  
  
• Support the MD with his larger portfolio, gaining exposure to more complex risks and client interactions.
  
  
• Handle processing, quotes, certificates of currency, and policy documentation via WinBEAT, Sunrise, and Steadfast systems.
  
  
• Opportunity to attend client meetings and build strong relationships.
  
  
• Work in a collaborative, professional environment where staff are trusted, supported, and valued.
  
  
• Based in East Melbourne with good transport links/parking spaces

About You

• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in an Assistant Account Executive/Assistant Broker role.
  
  
• Tier 1 qualified.
  
  
• Strong skills using WinBEAT, Sunrise, and Steadfast platforms.
  
  
• Confident communicator with a proactive and professional approach.
  
  
• Keen to develop and eventually grow into managing larger, more complex accounts.
