Elgas, Australia's largest LPG supplier and part of the global Linde Group, is seeking a skilled Technical Engineer to join our team as a permanent contractor.

This is a unique opportunity to deliver key infrastructure and customer installation projects across Victoria and Tasmania, while working with a trusted industry leader in energy.

About the Role

Reporting to the Mulgrave or Preston office, you'll oversee the design, delivery, and commissioning of LPG infrastructure projects.

You'll work closely with customers, regulators, and internal teams to ensure compliance, safety, and efficiency.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the design and installation of LPG systems for depots and customers.
• Managing technical projects in line with Elgas' national framework.
• Ensuring compliance with statutory and safety regulations.
• Representing Elgas at regulatory meetings and audits.
• Regular site visits across Victoria and Tasmania.

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• Proven experience managing technical/engineering projects.
• Knowledge of Work Health & Safety legislation.
• Strong stakeholder and project management skills.
• Flexibility to travel within VIC/TAS and interstate.

• Current police check or willing to obtain
