About the role and team
As our Training & Compliance Coordinator you'll report to the Manager - Justice Services, Northern Territory, being the key to our operations running smoothly. If you thrive on effectively managing training, quality assurance, procedural, and compliance activities, while monitoring adherence to contractual obligations and relevant legislation, then this role is for you!
You'll actively work with operational teams and diverse stakeholders to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, enhance safety, and ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery. This position is crucial for maintaining a high-quality operational environment and ensuring all operational staff are adequately trained, competent, and compliant with their roles and responsibilities
In the role you will:
- Coordinate and deliver staff training programs.
- Monitor and drive compliance against SLAs, KPIs, and G4S policies.
- Conduct quality assurance audits and manage the risk register.
- Prepare regular reports on performance, compliance, and training.
- Support Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) procedures, audits, and safety initiatives.
What we're looking for
We're seeking professionally qualified individuals who have:
- A strong ability to identify data trends, conduct root cause analysis, and effectively improve areas.
- High accuracy in written reporting, data entry, and compliance auditing, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) or equivalent is desirable.
- Proven experience in training coordination, quality assurance, or a similar administrative role, preferably within a high-volume operational, custodial, law enforcement, or security environment.
The Recruitment Process
G4S runs a staged recruitment process, running for 4-6 weeks, that includes:
- Applying online with a CV.
- Completing a phone screen with a member of our Talent Acquisition team.
- Attending an onsite interview with our G4S Management team members.
- Background checks, including: a national police check, reference checks, and work rights verification.
- A SAFE NT corrections clearance - submit and receive a full clearance from Corrections and Police NT for approval to work after training.
