About the role

Burke Engineering & Fabrication PTY LTD is seeking a dedicated and motivated Apprentice Boilermaker to join our skilled team in Bathurst, NSW. As an Apprentice Boilermaker, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your craft under the guidance of experienced industry professionals. This is a full-time role, providing you with the chance to embark on a rewarding career in the Trades & Services industry.

What you'll be doing

Undertake hands-on training in welding, fabrication, and the assembly of metal structures and components

Interpret technical drawings and specifications to manufacture and repair various metal products

Utilise a range of tools and equipment, including power tools, hand tools, and welding machines

Adhere to strict safety protocols and quality control measures

Actively participate in on-the-job training and complete your formal trade qualifications

Contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of the workshop

What we're looking for

A keen interest in the Trades & Services industry, with a focus on welding and boilermaking

Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Commitment to continuously improving your skills and knowledge
