Allfab Constructions is based in the Illawarra and specialises in steel fabrication, infrastructure development, construction and plant maintenance for steel, mining and commercial building projects.

About the Role
We are seeking experienced, trade-qualified Boilermakers for a permanent position within our growing workshop. You’ll work on a diverse range of heavy fabrication projects for mining, construction, and infrastructure, using advanced welding techniques and precision fabrication skills.

This role suits a team-oriented professional who can collaborate effectively with others while also delivering quality work independently. You will be expected to contribute to a positive, safety-focused workplace culture, support colleagues to meet project deadlines, and maintain high standards of workmanship across all tasks.

Skills & Experience

Australian-recognised Trade Certificate in Boilermaking or Metal Fabrication.

5+ years’ post-trade heavy fabrication and welding experience in mining, construction, or infrastructure projects.

Advanced welding skills in MIG, TIG, Stick, and flux-core to AS/NZS standards.

Proven ability to work with mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium in both heavy-gauge and precision applications.

Strong track record in reading, interpreting, and fabricating from complex engineering drawings with minimal supervision.

Expertise in fabrication, plate work, heavy structural assemblies, and CNC applications.

Commitment to safety leadership, hazard identification, and compliance with SWMS, JSA, and company safety procedures.

Current NSW White Card, Driver’s Licence,

Proficient in overhead pendant crane operation.

Desirable: Working at Heights, and Confined Space tickets, Dogman/Rigger, forklift, and EWP tickets.
