Our valued client is a successful, Australian-owned company with Head Office in Maddington. Involved in the supply of power into the mining sector, this is a busy and dynamic business in need of a hands-on accountant who can manage a wide range of tasks from basic data entry through to delivery of reports and bring the accounts to Trial Balance.

You will be part of a busy and capable small team working in quite an industrial setting and the role will require excellent attention to detail, great organisational skills and sound accounting experience in a similar sector.

What our client is looking for in this person:

Relevant qualifications and Australian accounting experience - preferably in an industrial sector

The ability to work as part of a small team, showing initiative and communicating well with management, suppliers, clients and colleagues

Strong IT skills, particularly with MYOB, Xero and MS Office. Accuracy and efficiency are also key requirements.

Relevant experience with AP, AR, Payroll (all low volume), Reports, Reconciliations, preparing accounts to Trial Balance, Budgeting, Forecasting and liaising with the external accountant.

A positive and pro-active person who can solve problems, enjoy the variety of the role and be happy to be quite autonomous in their work.

This is a full-time, permanent role paying up to $115,000 plus super, depending on your experience. The role is a 38 hour week, working from the premises in Maddington with no options for remote work.
