PR Power Pty Ltd is an Australian company specialising in Power Generation and Mobile Lighting. PR Power offers quality brands including Cummins, JCB & Trime lighting towers, providing a large range of industries with essential power generation and lighting services Australia wide. The company’s head-office is based in Wangara, with branches in Victoria and Queensland.

We are currently seeking an Accountant to join our Wangara based Finance team. Reporting to the CFO, the position will play a key role in the Financial and Administrative requirements of PR Power, including Trial Balance preparation, Account Reconciliations, ERP maintenance and support.

About the Role:

Duties will primarily include:

Perform Month end close, including journals, reconciliations and reporting to management.

Maintain integrity of the general ledger and related financial systems.

Collaborate to Identify and resolve system discrepancies when necessary.

Drive process improvements and support new system implementations.

Prepare cash flow forecasts and oversee daily cash management tracking.

Manage group reporting deliverables to overseas parent entity.

Manage and lodge BAS, PAYG as well as backup to the payroll function.

Support the annual budget and audit processes.

Provide strategic analysis and advice to support business operations.

Support other Finance and admin tasks as required.

Skills & Experience:

The successful candidate will ideally have:

Proven experience in a similar accounting role.

Tertiary qualifications in accounting or equivalent – progressing towards CA/CPA.

Confident working with a mid-size ERP system and able to troubleshoot and correct system issues as needed (EXO ERP preferred).

Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.

Confident communicator, with the ability to work cross functionally.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work in a team.

Able to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and work independently.
