Role summary

As Finance Officer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting daily finance, payroll, and procurement operations. Working closely with the Senior Finance Officer, you’ll contribute to core financial processes, month-end reporting, budgets, and compliance activities.

About the role

• Support day-to-day finance operations including accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliations, and month-end close
• Assist with external audits, year-end reporting, and financial compliance requirements
• Contribute to preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasting across business units
• Support payroll processing

Skills & experience

• Experience in a generalist finance role with exposure to payroll, accounts receivable/payable, and month-end processes
• Knowledge of accounting standards, statutory requirements, and financial reporting practices
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, MYOB or similar systems desirable
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline (CA/CPA qualified or working towards is highly regarded)
