The Shine Centre has a part-time or casual Occupational Therapy Allied Health Assistant role available in Ballarat at our Sebastopol Clinic on Mondays from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work directly with the Occupational Therapy team lead.

Tasks / Responsibilities

Deliver sessions to clients as outlined by the senior clinician who attends the session via telehealth

Deliver therapy assistant level 2 sessions as outlined by the Senior Clinician when clinically relevant

Write clinic notes for therapy sessions delivered

Communicate progress and obstacles with goals to the senior clinician

Attend case conferences

Provide administration assistance to clinicians

Assist with the development of resources for The Shine Centre and for clients

Attend team meetings

Attend 1:1 and group supervision sessions

Qualifications and Experiences

Certificate IV in Allied Health or

Studying Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Psychology or other Allied Health Degree

Experience working with children

An understanding of Autism, Intellectual Disability and other developmental disabilities
