About the role

We are seeking a friendly and experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team at Dr Paul Jarman Orthopaedic Surgeon's practice in Nowra, NSW. This is a casual role, providing you with flexibility while supporting our patients and the wider practice. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring they receive a warm and efficient service.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and welcoming patients to the practice.

Scheduling and managing patient appointments.

Handling patient inquiries and providing information about our services.

Maintaining accurate patient records and medical histories.

Assisting with general administrative tasks as required.

Providing excellent customer service to ensure a positive patient experience.

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist, Orthopaedic or surgical administration experience a bonus.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional manner.

Excellent organisational and time management abilities.

Proficiency in using medical software - Genie and Gentu preferred.

A demonstrated commitment to patient confidentiality and privacy.

The ability to remain calm and composed in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work 8 hour shifts, 2 to 4 days a week on a 4 week roster. Hours will vary between 8am and 7pm.
