This top-tier, multi-disciplinary design practice is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to join their Sydney studio. You will be an experienced designer with broad end-to-end project experience, particularly in health, education, and workplace design. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your client management and leadership skills within a national practice with exceptional standards.

Key responsibilities:

Support the Principal to drive design outcomes through concept and schematic design phases

Allocate resources to suit project needs and general development of best practice, in consultation with the Project Director

Cultivate existing and new client relationships

Acting as Team Leader on multiple projects or Project Leader on selected projects

Provide design leadership and guidance to the interior team as well as nurture and motivate team members

Contributing to business development, bids and marketing processes

Collaborate with colleagues to promote an interdisciplinary design approach and philosophy

Skills and Experience:

Relevant Tertiary qualifications

Working at a level equivalent to 10+ years of professional experience

Advanced Revit and Rhino skills – essential

Ideally an established leader with developed people management skills

Demonstrated experience in the design and delivery of complex projects across the health, education, and workplace sectors

Previous experience working on complex, large-scale public projects

Working knowledge and demonstrated experience applying the requirements of the BCA / NCC and other relevant standards

Strong communication and presentation skills

A positive and professional attitude
